Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Pinnacle). They put the hurt on the Dobson Mustangs with a sharp  15-5 victory on Wednesday. With that  win, the Pioneers brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.
 Glenn Barney looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate, Pinnacle let  Joey Besemer and  Jack Petroff run wild. Besemer  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Petroff  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  home run and four  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  Besemer  launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colin Follmer, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Pinnacle  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Pinnacle now  has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Dobson,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-6.
 Coming up, Pinnacle will take on Horizon in a tournament  on Friday. As for Dobson, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Camelback  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Dobson is facing Camelback at the right time seeing as Camelback is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
