The North Cross Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 82-59 loss at the hands of Seton. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Antonio Mack and Jesiah Hines certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Mack scored 26 points, while Hines scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds. Hines scored a full 30.5% of North Cross' points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ned Tower, who scored 7 points.
North Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Seton, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cross will challenge The Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Avalon at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Avalon is ranked 41st in Maryland, while Seton is ranked 41st in Virginia).
