 Waynedale got a  massive  performance out of  Madi Miller, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  Miller has posted since back in April.  Carleigh Lynch was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
Waynedale is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Rittman, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 13 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waynedale will take on Dalton in a tournament  on Monday. As for Rittman, they will head out to  square off against Maplewood  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6  runs per game  this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
