Gilbert Christian was led to victory by Jace Olson and Keon Talgo. Olson scored 17 points along with seven rebounds, while Talgo scored 26 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Owen Fermoyle, who scored four points.
When it comes to explaining why Pusch Ridge Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Issac Hardeman. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with three steals. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Gilbert Christian pulled down 15 offensive rebounds.
Gilbert Christian pushed their record up to 18-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9.
Gilbert Christian will head out on the road to take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
