Gray Collegiate Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the North Augusta Yellow Jackets as they made off with a 9-0 victory. The War Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellow Jackets, too.
Makenzie Sease made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Aspen Boulware was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. Boulware is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Peyton Hendrix also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.
Gray Collegiate Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Augusta struck out 14 times.
