The Luther Lions can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Casady 55-32. The victory was familiar territory for Luther who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Casady saw an underclassman step up: Kate Naifeh almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 71.9% of Casady's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Luther has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Casady, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
Luther didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-36 win vs. Christian Heritage on the 9th. Casady has also already played their next match, a 45-39 victory against Epic Charter on the 8th.
