The Riverside Beavers will square off against the Kings Knights at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Riverside comes in on five and Kings on 16.
Riverside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Green with a sharp 10-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won 18 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Clara Granchi made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off 11 hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Emma Wilhelm was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Becca Tornow was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Riverside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Kings posted their closest victory since May 16, 2025 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Northmont 2-1.
Neely McElhaney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Julia Lowry, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
Kings' win bumped their record up to 27-1. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 27-4.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Riverside hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .412. However, it's not like Kings struggles in that department as they've averaged .402. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
