The Larimore Polar Bears's game on Friday was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to Langdon/Edmore/Munich 56-51.
Despite the loss, Larimore still got an impressive performance from Michael Myers, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 17 rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jace Collison, who scored 11 points.
Even though they lost, Larimore were working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Larimore bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Langdon/Edmore/Munich, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Larimore will square off against Dakota Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Langdon/Edmore/Munich will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Cavalier at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
