The Tahoma Bears pushed their score all the way to 62 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Auburn. Tahoma was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Auburn apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adam Davis, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Stephens, who scored 15 points.
Tahoma's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Auburn, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Tahoma will head out on the road to face off against Auburn Mountainview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Auburn, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against White River at 2:30 p.m.
