The biggest upset of the week belonged to Reading, who took down 207th ranked Reading, 31-19. Matt Connelly ran for 173 yards in the win.
Governor Mifflin extended the longest winning streak in Berks Inter-County 1 this week by beating Muhlenberg, 21-20. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Angle Cruz was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 29 carries, he ran for 177 yards as Conrad Weiser fell to Conrad Weiser. Alex Guilbe also contributed to the rushing game with 17 yards on the ground.
Kyle Yocum put up the best numbers through the air as Exeter Township topped the Knights. He finished with six completions for 193 yards and one touchdown. Yocum's favorite target this week was Alex Dundore, who caught one pass for 44 yards.
Witman was the best wideout in the league this week as the Crimson Tide lost to the Scouts. Witman tallied one reception for 58 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Nick Schoener and Cruz Conrad Weiser has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Schoener leads the league in passing with 729 yards, while Cruz has rushed for 741 yards this season. Twin Valley's Nigel Hill leads the league in receiving yards with 224 on six catches.
A big matchup in Berks Inter-County 1 this week will be when the Eagles take on the Muhls. At the moment, Exeter Township is in fifth, while Muhlenberg is in second.
Daniel Boone moved up to 355 from 403 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Blazers climbed the ranks as a result of a 26-0 win over the Raiders.
