The Chamblee Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Decatur. Chamblee has struggled against Decatur recently, as their game on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Starr, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Mccord, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Chamblee has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Decatur, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chamblee will square off against Lithonia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lithonia is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Decatur, they will head out on the road to challenge Tucker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tucker is coming into the game hot, having won their last 13 games.
