Having just played yesterday, the Chamois Pirates will head out on the road to face off against Jamestown at 7:15 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Chamois unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 68-45 walloping at the hands of Christian Fellowship. While losing is never fun, Chamois can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the are ranked 176th).
Meanwhile, Jamestown pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 76-59 fall against Pilot Grove. Jamestown has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Chamois' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Jamestown, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Chamois might still be hurting after the 62-38 defeat they got from the in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Can Chamois avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
