After a string of six wins, the Paint Branch Panthers's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost to Blake on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Paint Branch in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now lost eight in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Paint Branch lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ryan Tientcheu. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tientcheu has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alim Sesay, who scored six points.
Paint Branch's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3. As for Blake, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Paint Branch will be playing at home against the Cavaliers at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kennedy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups. As for Blake, they will head out on the road to challenge the Blue Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
