Westover's  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Monroe, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Westover will face off against Dougherty at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Dougherty will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Westover surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monroe, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  61-33  victory against Randolph-Clay on the 11th.
