On Friday, The Lincoln Cardinals never let their opponents score. They claimed a resounding 40-0 victory over Cleveland at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Emmett Togni was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Togni is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Cleveland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Clackamas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cleveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
