The Greendale Panthers lost against the Pius XI Catholic Popes back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Greendale was outmatched by Pius XI Catholic at home and fell 69-32. Greendale has not had much luck with Pius XI Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Greendale still got an impressive performance from Khloe Pedersen, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Yoder, who scored 3 points along with 4 steals.
Greendale's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pius XI Catholic, they have yet to lose a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 3-1 record.
Greendale will square off against New Berlin Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pius XI Catholic, they will be playing at home against Wisconsin Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wisconsin Lutheran will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Pius XI Catholic is ranked 25th).
