Cleveland was dealt a 43-6 loss at the hands of Birmingham. Cleveland has struggled against Birmingham recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Domenik Fuentes threw for 43 yards on nine of 15 attempts. On the ground, Cameron Green rushed for 39 yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Birmingham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ronnell Hewitt, who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Kingston Tisdell, who threw for 194 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes.
Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Birmingham, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Cleveland will head out on the road to face off against El Camino Real at 7:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Birmingham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Taft is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
