It was a good run, but the Eastern Tech Mavericks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 58-39 bruising from Benjamin Franklin. Eastern Tech lost against Benjamin Franklin in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-50 score last time.
Despite the loss, Eastern Tech still got an impressive performance from Prabhnoor Singh, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Singh has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jericho Wondeye, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Eastern Tech's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-1. As for Benjamin Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Eastern Tech will head out on the road to face off against Towson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Benjamin Franklin will be home for the holidays to greet Dundalk at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
