Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Potter Valley, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They were dealt a 83-23 defeat at the hands of Point Arena on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Potter Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1437th, while Point Arena is ranked 688th).
Round Valley has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Potter Valley, they bumped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home.
