Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, Pa.) 23-13 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Jordan Whitehead in the first quarter, the Warriors led 17-7 at the half.
Central Valley grew its lead to 16 points entering the fourth quarter. CV's lone score in the quarter came on a passing touchdown.
The loss snapped Thomas Jefferson's 11-game winning streak.
The Monaca school had given up an average of 6.7 points prior to the contest. The 13 points that the Jaguars ended with were well below their average of 40.9 coming into the game.
The loss comes after Thomas Jefferson defeated Highlands 23-14 last week.
