Lewisville is 8-2 against the Red Devils since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Lewisville Lions will be playing at home against the Great Falls Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. Lewisville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
Even though Lewisville has not done well against the Panthers recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Lewisville snuck past the Panthers with a 41-36 win.
Lewisville found their leader in underclassman Aiyana Murrell, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Murrell has been hot recently, having posted four or more blocks the last four times she's played. Mariah Wallace was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Great Falls was beaten by the Panthers 49-21 on Tuesday.
Lewisville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Great Falls, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
