The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers will take on the Rustburg Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rustburg took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jefferson Forest, who comes in off a win.
Jefferson Forest is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Glass, posting a 56-0 victory. Considering the Cavaliers have won six contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jefferson Forest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cam Foxx led the charge by rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Xander Coleman was another key player, gaining 50 total yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jefferson Forest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glass only rushed for 84.

Meanwhile, Rustburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 65-0 loss at the hands of Liberty Christian. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.
Jefferson Forest pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.5 points on average over those games. As for Rustburg, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Jefferson Forest has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 247 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Rustburg, though, as they've been averaging only 61.4 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
