The Meadow Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Springlake-Earth 74-33. Meadow was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-19.
jj jaramillo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Springlake-Earth, scoring 41 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which jaramillo has scored at least 25% of Springlake-Earth's points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Tovar, who scored 11 points.
Meadow's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Springlake-Earth, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Meadow will face off against Kress at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Springlake-Earth will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Crosbyton at 10:30 a.m. on December 7th. Crosbyton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 762nd, while Springlake-Earth is ranked 365th).
