The Winters Blizzards''s 16-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They blew past Colorado 48-7 at home. The victory was just what Winters needed coming off of a 48-12 loss in their prior matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Colorado lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ezik Hernandez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 103 yards on only 14 carries.
Winters' victory bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Colorado, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
