The Galt Warriors''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 36-0 loss at the hands of Bradshaw Christian. Galt was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Bradshaw Christian found their leader in underclassman Bishop Porter, who rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Porter was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. Another player making a difference was Avrey Gordon, who rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Galt's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bradshaw Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galt will take on Liberty Ranch at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Ranch will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rosemont at 5:15 p.m.
