Wesleyan have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Our Lady of Mercy at 7:30 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Wesleyan have to be hurting after a devastating 28-49 defeat at the hands of Prince Avenue Christian two weeks ago. Wesleyan got a solid performance out of freshman JC French, who passed for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-41, which was the final score in Our Lady of Mercy's tilt against Manchester. Our Lady of Mercy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-27.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-3. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
