Baseball Game Preview: Central Private Redhawks vs. Southern Lab Kittens

For the second straight game, Central Private will face off against Southern Lab. The Redhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kittens at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Central Private is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Southern Lab with a sharp 17-1 win on Tuesday. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Kittens recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

For Southern Lab's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Warren Gougisha, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Gougisha has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Central Private's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-14. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Southern Lab, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.
