They had to suffer through a rough 35-0 loss at the hands of Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic. St. Paul Catholic lost against Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 56-6 score last time.
Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evan Schibi, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Risedorf, who rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.
St. Paul Catholic has yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 1-9 record. As for Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
St. Paul Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic will head out on the road to face off against Tolland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
