The St. Patrick Fighting Irish's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 64-51 to Tylertown. St. Patrick has not had much luck with Tylertown recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, St. Patrick still got an impressive performance from Matt Krass, who scored 28 points along with six rebounds. Krass scored a full 54.9% of St. Patrick's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Brendan Moton was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Tylertown, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
St. Patrick will be playing in front of their home fans against West Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Marion is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Tylertown, they will head out on the road to face off against Perry Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
