Barstow had lost ten games at home dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 5-14 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Van Horn Falcons with a sharp 13-3 win. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Van Horn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Van Horn's part, Bennett Oney-Myers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Bushakra, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Barstow will have a chance to go back-to-back against Van Horn: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
