Glen Oaks has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge Madison Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glen Oaks will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the are ranked first).
Last Monday, Glen Oaks ended up a good deal behind the Yellowjackets and lost 59-41.
Meanwhile, after a string of 13 wins, Madison Prep Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Sunday. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty Magnet.
Glen Oaks dropped their record down to 13-17 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Madison Prep Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 22-3.
Glen Oaks strolled past the in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 56-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glen Oaks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
