The Winston County Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Lynn 59-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Winston County.
Lynleigh Cobb continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 21 points, 13 rebounds, and ten steals. Cobb is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Kate Veal, who scored 14 points.
Winston County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season. As for Lynn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Winston County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Meek at 4:30 p.m. on December 16th. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Aleah Addison and Cobb. As for Lynn, they will head out on the road to face off against Phillips at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Phillips is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
