Basketball Recap: Prosser's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Prosser unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 65-57 to the Whitney Wildcats. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 34th in Washington, while the Wildcats are ranked 110th in California).

Prosser's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Whitney, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Prosser and Rocky River will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Whitney, they will challenge Sandpoint at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
