With a playoff win on the line, Richard Winn Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took down Newberry Academy 33-19. The 33-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Richard Winn Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Bonds, who posted eight points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bennett Nicholson, who had eight points.

Richard Winn Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. As for Newberry Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
