The Lincoln Lynx won the last time they faced the Sioux City North Stars, and things went their way on Friday too. Lincoln put the hurt on Sioux City North with a sharp 54-33 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-8.
Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addie Naughton led the charge by scoring 13 points along with eight assists and five steals. Naughton also posted eight assists for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hutson Rau, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Lincoln's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Sioux City North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Le Mars the next time they take the court. Lincoln will head out to face Le Mars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sioux City North will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
