Connaty has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 16 consecutive pitching appearances. Connaty was even better at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Hailee Le, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Xitlali Gomez, who  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Garden Grove's win was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-9. As for Barstow, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
 Garden Grove will face off against Grace at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams will come into the  matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. Barstow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
