The Prescott Tigers will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Dayton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 94-23, which was the final score in Prescott's tilt against Liberty Christian on Saturday. Prescott has not had much luck with Liberty Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Dayton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Pomeroy on the road and fell 64-16. While losing is never fun, Dayton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 378th, while Pomeroy is ranked 141st).
Prescott's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Dayton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Prescott took their win against Dayton when the teams last played back in December of 2017 by a conclusive 57-36. With Prescott ahead 35-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
