Baseball Recap: Kinkaid Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Kinkaid lost to St. John back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mavericks, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Kinkaid's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.4 runs across that stretch. As for St. John's, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-11.

Coming up, Kinkaid will square off against Cooper at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. John's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
