Pro Stock Royals Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Grace Academy since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Royals will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Pro Stock Royals Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
While Pro Stock Royals Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over Union Academy on Wednesday.

Pro Stock Royals Academy got a great performance from David Rowles as he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Rowles has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Nick Santos and Jake Gibson did most of the damage at the plate: Santos scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Gibson scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Gibson also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Stephen Mogelefsky was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
Meanwhile, Grace Academy posted their closest win since February 27th on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Lee Park Prep 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Seth Stanton, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. Grace Academy is undefeated when Stanton posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Coccus, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Grace Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee Park Prep struck out seven times.
Pro Stock Royals Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Grace Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pro Stock Royals Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. However, it's not like Grace Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .346. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Pro Stock Royals Academy took their win against Grace Academy in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 11-2 score. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
