After a string of six wins, SouthWest Edgecombe's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 63-49 to the Washington Pam Pack. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Pam Pack from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

SouthWest Edgecombe's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Washington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.
SouthWest Edgecombe has already played their next game, a 77-50 win against Tarboro on the 18th. As for Washington, they will host Ayden - Grifton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
