The Crown Point Panthers stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 78-31 victory over Willsboro Central. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-18.
Leading Crown Point to victory were Reese Pertak and Trevor Harris. Pertak dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 assists, while Harris dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Harris has scored at least a third of Crown Point's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Stone, who scored seven points.
Crown Point has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Willsboro Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Crown Point will be playing at home against Boquet Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Crown Point has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 790 points over their last 11 matchups. Willsboro Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
