Pinon had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Valley Pirates. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kenneth Willie was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Pinon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Pinon pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
