Robinson is 6-1 against Blake since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Robinson Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Blake Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Robinson entered their tilt with Jefferson with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Robinson was the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over Jefferson. Robinson pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Jefferson cut but never quite recovered from.
It was another big night for ERIC ARCHIELD JR., who threw for 274 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards on only six carries. Wilton Rollins and his 83 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Robinson's victory.
Meanwhile, Blake was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Chamberlain 54-19 on the road. The victory was just what Blake needed coming off of a 38-17 defeat in their prior matchup.
Blake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Deshawn Neal out in front who rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Jadarian Collins was another key contributor, picking up 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Robinson to 6-2 and Blake to 7-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: Robinson has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 155.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Blake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 155.1 per game. It's looking like Friday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
Everything came up roses for Robinson against Blake in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 50-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Robinson since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
