The North Missouri HomeSchool Knights had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. The match between North Missouri HomeSchool and Green City wasn't particularly close, with North Missouri HomeSchool falling 58-43.
Green City can attribute much of their success to Asher Buggs-Tipton, who scored 27 points along with 3 steals. The contest was Buggs-Tipton's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Xander Salas, who scored 18 points along with 7 assists.
North Missouri HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Green City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
North Missouri HomeSchool will head out on the road to face off against Sunnydale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green City, they will be playing at home against Mercer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercer will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 285th, while Green City is ranked 56th).
