After flying high against the Scotia-Glenville Tartans on Thursday, the Schenectady Patriots came back down to earth. Schenectady fell 72-60 to Amsterdam on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Amsterdam can attribute much of their success to Jude Flint, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Miller, who scored 12 points.
Schenectady's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Amsterdam, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schenectady will take on Shenendehowa at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amsterdam, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Johnstown at 7:00 p.m.
