The McEachern Indians will stay at home for another week and welcome the Camden County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. McEachern will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only McEachern walked away with it. They breezed by Campbell at home to the tune of 42-0. The result was nothing new for McEachern, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Camden County faced Newton in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Camden County enjoyed a cozy 29-15 win over Newton on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Camden County.
Camden County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ja'marley Riddle, who rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns. Jaden Dailey was another key contributor, rushing for 141 yards on only 14 carries.
McEachern pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points per game. As for Camden County, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Everything went McEachern's way against Camden County when the teams last played back in September of 2017 as McEachern made off with a 38-13 win. Does McEachern have another victory up their sleeve, or will Camden County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
