After flying high against Foundation Christian Academy last Friday, Sarasota Christian came back down to earth. The Sarasota Christian Blazers took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays on Saturday. The Blazers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Sarasota Christian still got an impressive performance from Ben Milliken, who posted 18 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 47.4% of Sarasota Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Justin Brock, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 14 points.

Seacrest Country Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Fedor Vuksanovic, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Bates, who had 11 points and six rebounds.

Sarasota Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for Seacrest Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
