Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Hills Christian). They breezed by the Woodlawn Trailblazers to the tune of 85-25 on Friday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 27 points or more this season.

North Hills Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reese Merrell led the charge by almost dropping a triple-double on 23 points, nine assists, and 12 steals. The dominant performance gave Merrell a new career-high in assists. Ellison Dendy was another key player, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten steals.

Merrell wasn't the only one working in the assists department: North Hills Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

North Hills Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Woodlawn, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

North Hills Christian and Sheets Memorial Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodlawn will take on Cornerstone Christian Academy in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
