The Seton LaSalle Rebels's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Floyd Central Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Seton LaSalle, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 80-62 loss to Bethel Park.
Meanwhile, Floyd Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 91-87 to Landrum. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (56), Floyd Central still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Braden Moore, who almost dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie Samons, who scored 23 points.
Even though they lost, Floyd Central were working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Seton LaSalle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Floyd Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
