River Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zaree Nichols led the charge by scoring ten points. Another player making a difference was Lexi Wade, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Hernando saw an underclassman step up: Ayana Kincade scored seven points.
River Ridge's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.33 points. As for Hernando, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
